I'm Vina and welcome to my site, Westlife Western. If you have ever visited Westlife Home Page (http://www.westlifehomepage.com) long time ago, this is the new one. The old one has been closed due to some reason and I don't make any "shop centre" again. As you probably have known how many times Westlife Home Page was closed and re-opened again. Anyway, back to the main topic.

This site talks about Westlife, the biggest boyband in Ireland. They are Bryan McFadden, Kian Egan, Mark Feehily, Nicky Byrne, and Shane Filan, and they have got 12th UK number 1 singles. Isn't that great? :)

By the way, this site is updated every week and it's like a site from fans to fans, because most of all was sent by Westlife fans. Thanks a lot!! And I'm sorry if some news are a bit late. I'm really busy now with exams and homeworks :) But I try my best to update the site and mailing list. New thing is I just changed the layout and background. Hope you like it.

Shane: It was amazing, it really was the best day of my life! When we exchanged rings and he actually said 'you're husband and wife' i got really tear. I could feel the love rushing through me. Gillian looked at me and I'm a man and I'm meant to be all tough but I had to shed a tear! What is it with you fellas getting married so young? Shane: There's nobody I've ever seen or met that has even come anywhere near close to Gillian, she's the perfect girl for me, and I don't wanna lose her, ever! - Another one from 2fm. Thanks to Chelle for typing it. Very funny! *. Gillian cooked dinner for them. "Yea, she's got into the cookin lately and loves it, which is great for me..I ain't complaining." *Then The DJ asked him who does the ironin and Shane goes,"Jaysus we both hate the ironin..so we just go out with our clothes wrinkly!" and then he asked him what he did for Valentine's day and Shane said that they pre-recorded the cd:uk thing for next week so got an early flight home, Gillian cooked dinner and then... What's that?" and Shane laughs and goes,"Ye know yerself man!..ahem..ye know..emmm a bit of the huggin and kissen and the rest of that stuff*giggles all cutely*" *And Shane said that he and Gill were addicted to I'm A Celeb they use to sit up and watch it for ages and watch the hour extra thingy on ITV after. *Then he was talking about married life and The DJ asked him what was it like and Shane said,"most people tell you it doesn't change you" but its changed him because he feels sooo much happier with himself and alot more secure,and its been the best two months of his life! *When Shane was talkin about what he did on valentines night ye could hear someone laughin in the backround and then loadsa noise! He said that they had something big planned and if they could pull it off it was gonna be good. That was when they did an Irish tv interview last week. So looks like it' s gonna be the duet. You all probably know this but Mark confirmed the duet with Diana Ross a few weeks back in their column in the Sunday World.

- Teletext recently got it together with four fifths of Westlife (Mr
McFadden being Down Under) to ask some probing questions sent in by
viewers of Ace (our pop section available on Channel 4 page 380).

The boys didn't shy away from speaking their minds on subjects like
I'm A Celeb, their forthcoming tour, and what winds 'em up about
fame.

Would you ever appear on I'm A Celebrity?
Kimberley, Sheffield.

All: "No!"

Shane: "Well done to Kerry. She was brilliant. She deserved to win.
Personally I'd hate it. I'd do it without cameras for a laugh for a
week. I doubt I could eat the bugs but if you're there and it meant
you'd get a proper meal, you'd probably try. I wouldn't stuff in
fish eggs, no!"

Kian: "Jennie Bond was really good. Did you see the things she was
eating!"

Mark: "She looks like something out of Lord Of the Rings though! We
watched the first couple of episodes with Bryan before he left for
Australia."

Shane: "It was very hard not to watch. You were glued. It was quite
funny."

What gets on your nerves about fans and the music industry?
Aoife and Ciara McGeehan, twins aged 21, Co Donegal.

Kian: "All record bosses slate the pop music industry but it's
always going to be here. It's always going to be more successful
than the average rock band. That bugs me about the industry. Fans
that follow you 24 hours a day bug me."

Mark: "Fans who have 700 pictures of you outside a hotel but want
more!"

Nicky: "You'll miss it when they're not there!"

Mark: "I won't miss having a pit of hissing snakes giving me abuse!
Luckily they're about one in a million."

How often do you get to go home?
Amna Irshad

Shane: "Quite a bit lately. We've been working three to four days a
week and having three days off every week for the past month. We're
having as many days at home as we can as it won't be like that for
the next four or five months."

Mark: "We're taking advantage 'cos when we go on tour it won't be
like that."

What can we expect from the Turnaround tour?
Rebecca Aubrey, 17, Stoke. Zoe Warrillow, 17, Plymouth.

Kian: "You're guaranteed a good show; an exciting show. It's going
to be very different to last year with lots of songs off the new
album. We go on stage to entertain people and ourselves. To make
sure people go home with a smile. To better the last show, that's
what we always try to do."
